BE DOPE NEWS (BDN) Scot Hacker's TrackerBase, a set of tools and documentation designed to make generating web pages from databases based on Tracker attributes, has spawned consequences unforseen by its creator.

At last count, over 400 new BeOS news sites have announced their intent to launch by the end of the week.

"Well, I've always wanted to report on BeOS news, but never had the time," said John Talbot, of the soon-to-launch BeNewsSite. "But with TrackerBase, the time becomes trivial. There's plenty of BeOS news out there to steal, errr report."

Some BeOS users fear the onslaught of news sites will confuse readers rather than inform them.

Others disagree.
