BE DOPE NEWS (BDN) - A bit of Be history can now be yours. A collection of rare BeOS-related tshirts is now up for auction on eBay.

"I missed my chance to get a piece of Be's historic couches, but I won't let opportunity pass me by this time," said one bidder.

The shirts, created in the days of BeOS PR (Preview Release) are reportedly in "mint" condition. Only a few hundred were ever made, and no others are known to be in good condition.

eBay, who is hosting the auction, has taken special preparations.

"When I heard someone wanted to auction off a piece of Be history, I immediately had our operations department add a new server to handle the expected load," said Meg Whitman, president and CEO of eBay.
