BE DOPE NEWS (BDN) Millions of BeOS fans are expected to flood movie houses tonight to catch a glimpse of the new BeOS R4.5/Genki preview trailer. Lines have already begun to form by those hoping to grab the best possible seat for viewing. The preview trailer will be shown before screenings of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, a new movie by George Lucas.

"I haven't heard much about this movie, but I really don't care one way or the other," said one linesitter. "I'm just here to see the Genki trailer - I'll probably just walk out after its done and maybe head to the diner with some friends for a late dinner."

Surprisingly, most fans didn't mind paying the price of a full movie ticket for a trailer that runs just two and a half minutes.

"Lucas did OK with the first couple of Star Wars movies, but then there were all those Ewoks later on," recalled a fan decked out in a official Be tshirt. "It's been so long who even remembers what Star Wars is supposed to be about anymore? My seven year-old nephew thinks it's a new kind of food at Pizza Hut apparantly. I'm not expecting a good movie, but the rumors of the Genki trailer were too much to resist."

The Genki trailer has been shrouded in so much secrecy that even the rumor-mongering power of the Internet has failed to obtain concrete facts of the trailer's exact contents.

"People know there are screen shots, know there are big-name actors signed on board, know that there are incredible special effect, but when it comes to specifics even my usually reliable sources have come up against a stone wall," said Harry Knowles of Ain't It Cool News.

"The BeOS is all about wonderful surprises," Knowles added.
